I'm a little late on this, but for those interested in how the Ducks did in the NFL combine...check out what Rob Moseley has in the Register Guard. He also has some other interesting links to check out regarding the Ducks QB battle. Back to the combine, which does seem a little silly in a way...doin a bunch of runnin'/jumpin' drills, dodgin' plastic cones, and answering questions like 'if you were a tree, what tree would you be?' is gonna predict how an NFL's player career is gonna go. It can, but not always.
From what I've heard, there was mixed results for the Ducks at the combine. LaMichael James obviously had the best day (no surprise there). His 40 time was officially clocked at 4.45, but he was clocked by one of the timers at 4.37 (again, that wasn't official though). Eddie Pleasant also had a pretty good performance, especially on the bench press. Those that did not were Darron Thomas and Cliff Harris. Makes you think, if only they decided to stay (and in Cliff's case, clean his act up and not get kicked off the team.)
I think they both have a few regrets at this point bro
ReplyDeletewell last time i seen Dt he was doing so good, think it was to early for him he should of stayed back for another yr
ReplyDeletei dont think cliff is ready for the NFl from what i hear
ReplyDeleteDarron jumped ship cuz of sanction talk, this will bite him in the butt...Cliff, I still have hope for him that he'll get it together, he's just a kid and full of so much potential. Still wish em both the best!
ReplyDeleteThomas can improve his stock with a good pro day but he should've stayed.
ReplyDeleteAgree 100%, and thanks for check the page out bro. Need more CFB talk in here with other fans.
