I Got A Problem With The NCAA Tournament
somethin's wrong with the tournament selection process when teams like South Dakota State, and Western Kentucky (who has a losing record btw) get in just for winning their crappy conference tournament, and Oregon (22-8) is still "on the outside looking in."
but thats what makes the "tournament" the best in sports, the small teams get a shot unlike football, there will never b Butler reaching the championship game in football, they wont allow it, just ask Boise State
ReplyDeletetrue. But when you look at those small teams, and they have a record worse than a big team, you gotta wonder why they're getting in? Might as well expand the tournament even more. Get rid of the NIT.
Deletefunny thing, after writing this I realized South Dakota State whipped Washington earlier this year. But my point stands.
ReplyDeletedon't go too hard on the Jackrabbits they destroyed Washington this season and western kentucky got hot after a coaching change but I have the Ducks IN on taterology!
ReplyDeleteand don't Lunardi for gospel he is a dumb ass anyway can't stand him I feel like he gets paid by schools like Texas and UConn that have no business being IN
ReplyDeleteAgreed on both counts...especially about Lunardi.
DeleteWe should be in regardless. But, 1 victory or 2 wouldn't hurt. I believe our RPI is in the 50's.
ReplyDeleteagree 100% it shouldn't come down to that, but 1 or 2 wins would go a long way.
DeleteLooks like lunardi will get his mancrush UConn in after winning today
DeleteWas there ever any doubt? They are UCONN. Come to think about it, they are kinda dirty though, but that's a different topic. They have the nations No.1 SOS I believe, and have a respectable 20-12 record playing in the Big East, so I don't have THAT much of a problem with them getting in. Lets see what they can do with Calhoun coaching them, because clearly they're a different team when he's not.
