Oregon 'Catches' A Pair of Receivers

As I talked about here, you may see a recruit switch his commitment on national signing day.

Oregon has landed two players that did just that.

Bralon Addison was previously committed to Texas A&M.  The 5'10, 180 pounder was an Army All-American, and has drawn high praise from scouts in Texas for his speed and athleticism.  He should fit in well in Chip Kelly's offense.

The other guy is Chance Allen.  Previously committed to Oklahoma State, at 6'3, 180 pounds, he brings size to the Oregon receiving corps.

Along with Dwayne Stanford (the 6'5 receiver from Ohio) Oregon is adding a pair of receivers with height.  Something they don't have, but could use now that LT (also 6'5) is gone.

And we've seen what a big, powerful, receiver - such as LT - can do in this offense.  By being big and physical, they can go up top over a defender, and block as well.  Which is very important in this offense.
